LONDON, July 18. The. Port of London Authority have arranged to increase the cold storage facilities of the port to acconiiiTjodat 0 a total of 1,100,000 carcases. The scheme will enable a further quartermillion carcasses to be stored at the Alljert Docks, where the additional arrangements provide for discharge direct from the ships- holds into insulated sorting sheds, thus avoiding undue handling, while diu exposure of the meat to a high temperature during discharge will be reduced to a minimum.
