Fat Cattle—loß were yarded and although this was a higher number than previous weeks prices continued very firm and in fact were higher . than last quotations. Some extra prime brought up to £l6 Is t>d, best .ill to £l3, medium £8 10s to £!0 10s, best cows £lO to Cl2, medium £/7 to £9 10s, inferior £5 to .'£7. Potatoes.—During, the last few days the demand from Australia has improved and business is brisk. Prices have risen considerably.
