PRESENTATION TO MR GEORGE WALKER. [To the Editor.] Sm,— At the risk of seeming inconsistency might I say two words on the above. The unsuitableness of- the subject for a newspaper correspondence has struck me very forcibly. There may have been a 1 slender excuse for the first writer in the mode of collecting, but if either of the parties who continued the unseemly wrangle had any other motive than to see their miserable piffle in print they could have had the business well finished long ago. They have shown no consideration for the man whom they profess to hold worthy of so much.
