LOCAL STOCK SALE.

Mr John Thompson reports as follows : — There was a decided improvement in the sbeep market at my yards on Thursday last, 666 being yarded and changed hands after brisk competition. Medium lambs sold at 8s 4d, store sheep 89 to 10s, orossbred ewes 12s Bd, aged oulls 23 Bd. The Beaumont merino wethers sold at from 3s to 4s sd, merino ewes ss. I sold 10 rams on account of Mr P. Williamson, Milburn, at from £2 5s to £3. Only 8 head of cattle came forward, and all sold as follows : Yearling 3 37j, miloh cows £5 15s 6d, stores £3 5s to £4 Is. Ouly one horse out of Mr Beaufort's team was sold, the price being £15 15s. One riding hack was sold at £9. Pigs : 17 were yarded and went well. Suckers 8s to 12s, storeg 14s 6d. ■
