No protest shall be entertained unless lodged in writing and accompanied by the sum of £2, If the protest is considered frivolous tbe deposit will be forfeited. NOMINATIONS for all handicaps on first day, including Trot, close at 9.30 p.m. on FRIDAY, 31st JANUARY, 1902. Nominations for Trots to be accompanied with pedigree (if any) and previous performances. HANDICAPS for the first day's raoes will be declared on or about WEDNESDAY, sth • FEBRUARY, 1902.
