The ' Daily Telegraph's * So. ±\)Cerß« burgh correspondent wired that General Koronpatkin had started for Central Asia. October 12. 'The Times" Sitnl* correspondent states that reports from the frontier shovr that everything is quiet in Afghanistan, Ilabibullah, ia a letter announcing his accession, informs Lord Curzjn that he will follow in his father's footsteps. Ha hopes the friendship of the Government* of Afghanistan and India will oontluaously increase. The 'Daily Telegraph' stales that Russian official advices from Bokhara allege that Habibulkh'a brothers, a few hours prior to the proclamation of accession, secretly left Cabul, accompanied by their partisans. Habibullab, indignant at tbeir action, has surrounded himself with trustworthy troops, and sent strong detachments to guard the main roads to prevent their return, unless as prisoner!.
