CORRESPONDENCE.

LAWRENCE BRASS BAND.

[To thb Editor.J Sir,— When the Lawrenoe Brass Band played in the reserve yesterday there was one thing escaped my notice, if it was tbere, and that was a collection box. I think the Band ought to have one at the entrance of the Reserve when they play there, as a good number of the public, visitors as well as local, would very often give a little to hp]p the Band on. In all large towns you will find a box at the entrance to the ground where tbe bands are playing. Wishing tbe Band every success, &ud thanking you ia anticipation, — I am etc, An Old Bandsman. Lawrenoe, 30th September.
