Fat Cattle. —.236 yarded. This proved more thin' sufficient for the requirements of the trade, and in consequence prices as compared with last week's were from 10* to 15a per head lower. A fair proportion of the entry consisted of prime medium-weight steers, the balance light-weight steers ami inferior and second-cbss berf. Best bullocks brought from £8 to £9 12s 6d ; medium, £7 to £7 15s ; light and inferior, £5 to £6 10a.

Fit Sheep.— The entry to-day comprised 3120, tbe greater number of which were ewes. The sales opened with a decline of fully 3s per head, and towards tho end of tbe falcs buyers were able to make their purchases still another shilling perhead cheaper. Tbe freezing works not yet being opened, there was no demand for export, »o that the butchers and graziers were the. only competitors. Best wei hors bright from 9s 6 1 to 10d 61;6 1 ; medium, 8s to 9s ; light, 6s 61 to 7s 6d. Fat Limbs. — The very large numbpr of 1200 were penned to- lay, and as that number was much greater than was required by the trade, prices fell from Is 61 to 2s per head. Rabbitskins. — The sales are now made up a'iDiost entirely of off season's skins. There is a good <Jen»nd from local buyers, and late prices arc well maintained.

Hides. — The demand continues good, and all consignments are readily taken up at quotations, which- are — fur prime heavy ox, '2% 1 to 3£i per lb; medium to good, 2^l to t • 2Ji ; light, Ifd to 2J.
