LOCAL SALES. Attention is drawn to Mr John Tkompson's regular fortnightly sale at his yards to-morrow (Thursday), at which, he will offer eight first-class draught horses on behalf of Messrs Browne Bros.; also, on account of other vendors, sheep, horses, etc. DUNEDIN GRAIN AND PRODUCE MARKETS. Messrs Donald Reid and Co. report that prices ruled as under at their auction sale on Monday :— Oats.— Prime milling, Is BJd to Is 9Jd ; good feed, Is 7Jd to Is BJd ; inferior and medium, Is 6d to Is 7d per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat. — Prime milling, 3s 8d to 3s lid j medium, 3s 5d to 3s 7d per bushel (sacks in). Barley.— Medium to good malting, 2s 4 Jd to 2s 7Jd per bushel (sacks extra). Potatoes.— Best Northern Derwents, £2 5s to £2 7s Sd ; beat Southern do, £2 to £2 ss ; best kidneys, £2 to £2 15s per ton (sacks in). Chaff.— Best oateii sheaf, £3 5s to £3 10s; medium, £3 to £3 2s 6d ; inferior, £2 10s to £2 15s per ton (bags extra). Turnips.— Best Swedes (loose), 16s per ton ; do (bagged), 17s per ton. Hay. — Best clover and ryegrass (mixed), £2 15s to £2 17s 6d per ton.
