DISPOSAL OF CROWN LANDS.
The following sections of Crown lands have been disposed of during the past week :—
Section 19s, block 12, Oamaru (Teaneraki settlement), 9 acres— Philip Mertha, on lease in perpetuity, at an annual rental' of 16s 2d per acre. *
Section 24, block 6, Woodland, 206 acres-D. S. and A. H. M. Brown, on lease in perpetuity ; capital value, 22a per acre. Section 19, block 5, Woodland, 318 acresJames Christie, under occupation with right of purchase ; capital value, 19s per acre. Section 31s, block 8, Awamoko (Teanerald settlement), 25 acres— John Crawford, on lease in perpetuity, at an annual rental of 16s 8d per acre.
As noted above, two more of the Teaneraki settlements acquired under the Land for Settlement Act have been selected.
