SHOOTING COMPETITION.

The Waitahuna Rifles/fired the fourth of a series of handicap competitions for the prizes presented by Lieut. -York and Vol. Laffey, and also prjges of ammuni--tion, at the Waitahuna range on Saturday afternoon. Competitors can either use Snider or Martini-Henry rifles. Owing to the unsteady wind that prevailed, the shooting was rather irregular. The following are the scores :— Sergt.
