Messrs Samuel Obb awt> Co., Staffordstreet, Danedin, report for the week ending 2 1st December as follows:— | Wheat.— The market is in much the same condition sb it has bp»n during the past fen weeks, millers purchasing bat sparingly, and more especially so on account of tbe holidays approaching. Prime wheat still maintaining its value, say, from 3« 91 to 3s 10<; ordinary 3* ?d to 3» 1i I ; medium, 3s 3d to 3a 4d ; fowls' feed, 2 6i to Ss.
Oats. — These are now a drug in the market, there being no speculation whatever in them, our outside markets being fully supplied, wbi^e locally there is really little being used ; consequently prices are, if anything, easier. We quote prime milting Is 8J ; ordinary, I<* 7id ; medium, Is6|d to Is 7d ; inferior, Is 5d to Is 6d.
Wool- —Since our report of last week there is really nothing of any importance to note in tbis market. By recent cable advices from London, wool keeps firm at the reductions noted ia our last report-. The Home trade remains in a most unsatisfactory condition, but France and Germany are taking fresh supplies of auch qualities as suit immediate requirements,
