INDIAN.
Pound two ounces of cold chicken with one ounce of cold ham, bacon, or tongue. Moisten in a small stewpan with a little steak, add a desertspoonfiil of curry-powder, another of curry paste, and, if liked hot, add a little cayenne. Simmer for ten minutes, mix into a smooth paste and make into sandwiches by spreading a thin layer of fried bread and cover with another thin layer.
