TENNIS.
CABISBBOOK V. LAWBENCE.
A match between the above clubs took plaoe on the Lawrence green on Saturday before a large number of spectators. The weather was all that could be desired, and the green was in perfeot order. The local representatives were Misses Bevell, and Messrs Hall, Campbell, and Potts ; and the visiting team consisted of Mrs Woodhouse, Mias Kattary, De Brown, aad Messrs Ross and F. J. Fulton. The play of the day was certainly that of Misses Rattray (Garisbrook) and E. R veil, some of their strokes being exceedingly good. As on previous occasions, Lawrence was saved from an ignominous defeat by its lady representatives, the gentlemen with one exception being defeated right through.
