A fatal gun accident oocurred at Dandenong (Victoria) the other day. A. F. Hartnell was crossing a field trailing a light Martini-Henri rifle, and when he was getting between a post and s.ome newly-cut acacia one of th.c spikes caught the trigger. <Just as he turned; round to look wh,at held the weapon, it exploded, the ball entering his abdomen on the left side and going out above the hip on the right side.
