I (From our own Correspondent.) Dunedin, January 19fch. The Premier left for Wellington this morning. The Minister of Mines remaiua in Dunedin. At the meeting of the Synod to-day, an | application for a church site at Lawrence was refused. To-day a painter named Parker fell through a skylight on to the footpath, some 14 feet, but escaped without breaking any bones.
