Fat Cattle.— los forward. Only a few really good, but the balance excellent beef, with the exception of about a dozen inferior betflts. There were some nico light-weight stall-fed cattle, which appear to be growing in favor with the trade, and which brought full rates. The small supply caused brisk competition, and prices ruled higher than have been realised for the season. Bst bullocks brought £9 10a t« £10 12s 63 j others, up to £9 ; cows, £4 10s to £9 15s. Wool. — The Mutual Agency Company report: As previously noticed, we consider the wool outlook exceedingly dismal. Growers hare to face it, and will do well to remember that only by rareful attention to the growth of belter qualities, and in the largest quantities, and by careful classing and packing for market, can they expect to realise a payable return. Latest cable advices only confirm previously reported expectations as to the course of the market.
