The latest Press telegram reports a total of 36,000 bales bsing offered so far, of irbioh 5600 hay* been withdrawn ; the tone of the market continuing weak, especially so for scoared wools of all descriptions. Crois-brada maintain the July closing rates. Merino are from 7 to 10 per cent, below the priie realised at the July sales. The number of bales catalogued up to the sth was 60,030, and the total number available was 340,000."
