The "Sydney Mail" of the 31st ult. reports ,— • Business in the produce market has been fairly active, and supplies have been freely forwarded. The most of the lines have re* mained unchanged, with the exception of the maize and oat markets, which are easier. The following are the quotations :—: — Whea*;. — Fair demand : Market unchanged. The following values may be quoted : New South Wales, 4s 6d to 4s 6d per bushel; Adelaide and Victoria, same prices, bags included.
Oats. — During the week the unusual heavy arrivals h&ve made the local market easier. Heavy feed, 2a lOd to 2a lid per bushel; Tartarian seed, 3s 3d per bushel.
