The Manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand (limited) reported, as follows of the local grain market on Wednesday last: — Wheat, 4s o£d to 4s Id; market active. Malting barley in fair demand at 4s 4d to 4s Bd. New Zealand oats : Feeding sorts are firmer —2s 6d to 2s 9d, and for milling sorts there is a good demand at 2s lOd to 2a lid. New Zealand oats, under bond, 2s 5d to 2s 8d ; ryegrasa, 4s to 4a 3d ; market quieter;
