RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT, LAWRENCE.
(Before E. H. Carew, Esq., E.M.) Monday, 15 th April. Grooday v. Borough of Lawrence. — Tin's was an action to recover £31 143 BJ. The case w s heard at the previous sitting of the Court, but judgment was deferred v itil Monday. His Worship gave judgment in favor of plaiutiff for £23 12s 2d ; costs of Court, 27s j and professional co3ts, 31s 6d. Draper v. Honeychurch. — Claim, £4 10s. Summons not returned. Tha hearing of"the case was adjourned to 291 h instant. Draper v. Higgins. — Withdrawn, Monaghan v. Wicks. — Judgment summons. Mr Gooday, who appeared for plaintiff, applied for an adjournment o£ the case until 6th May.— Granted. John N. Storry's application for a bagatelle license for the Railway Hotel was granted.
