Bin, — I observe in your last issue a letter, signed J. O. Brown, accusing me of sending untruthful telegrams to the " Star." I wish to ask you,' Sir, what right J. C. Brown has to say that I sent the telegram, as he cannot prove the assertion. As J. C. Brown previously fulfilled the position of canvasser on the TtiAPEKA Times, I uyist aasume that he was in the habit of "sending unreliable telegrams to the Press, and therefore is judging me by his own measure.
