MANUKA CREEK SCHOOL.

The Manuka Creek School was publicly examined on the 22nd inst. There was a good turn out of parents and friends, and after a searching examination by the teacher and the Rev. Mr. Skinner, prizes were awarded to the most deserving. At the conclusion, Mr. Walter Miller addressed the children, and spoke as to the good organisation and classification of the school, and the marked progress since last examination, and complimented them on their discipline and good behaviour. — Mr. Craig, a member of ths Committee, concurred in all Mr. Miller had said, and he hoped Mr. M'Callam their teacher might be long spared amongst them.
