He is a light bay, risin three years old, is perfectly quiet, has fin action, superior bone, and great muscula power, and took the first prize at the Tok( mairiro Show as a yearling. Emperor, the sire of Young Emperot is out of Nancy, bred by Alexander Fine lay, Esq., Sandyhills, near Glasgov Nancy was got by the celebrated Garvai Horse, and her dam by Scotsman, tl] property of James Kirkwoods, Kilmaur: Nancy was first shown as a three yec old, and got first prize at Hamilton, tin at Bailleston, second at Glasgow, an second at Kilbride. She was next show as a brood mare at Glasgow and Kilbridi where she received similar honors. His sire is the well known importe horse Napoleon, whose stock is not c: celled in the province. Emperor is of great strength, and con pactly built. He has proved himself sure foal-getter, and his stock is of superior description. Emperor was show at Dunedin when a two-year-old, when 1: received second prize as the best horse < any age, his sire being first ; and fir; prize for the best two-year-old.
