FROST CAUSES DELAY. Jumpers Schooled at Riccarton. Work at Riccarton, this morning, was again held up by heavy frost. It was late before trainers could really make a start. The inside of the trial grass was open for fast work and was used by a number of candidates for Trentham. On the whole it was pretty slow, but a few furlongs along the back offered comparatively fast going. Practically all the tasks were of the merelj'- useful order. Punchestown, ridden by H. Turner, jumped ten fences. He did not altogether satisfy at one or two of the obstacles, but on the whole shaped fairly well. Jolly Beggar, also ridden by Turner, was sent over four hurdles at a fair pace and cleared them well.
