SOUTHBRIDGE DANCE.
Annual Ball of Women’s Institute. There was a large attendance at the Southbridge Town Hall on Thursday evening when the Women’s Institute held its annual ball. Both socially and financially the function was quite successful and credit is due to the committee and to the secretary. Miss M. Schnelle, for the excellent arrangements made to ensure a pleasant evening. The visitors included many members of other institutes. Dance music was supplied by Les Kinsman's Orchestra and extras were played by Mrs R. Lambje and Mr R. Lambie. Mr H. W. Hickman was M.C. Prizes for Monte Carlo dances were won by Miss B. Patterson and Mr G. Hutcheson, and Miss M. Ramble and Mr Allen. A number of the guests played cards in the ante-room. the winners of most points being Mrs F. H. Greenwood and Mr W. J.
