ACCIDENTAL DEATH.
Youth Found Dead Beside Fence. Per Press Association. MARTON, This Day. An inquest was held at Turakina into the death of Max Ernest Carter. IS years of age. who was found dead near a fence with a bullet wound in the head and a rifle alongside, among the sandhills at Turakina Beach on Sunday evening. Evidence was given h>y Carter’s father, the stationmaster at Wanganui, that thev went to the beach over the week-end. His son went shooting rabbits. His son was in good spirits on Sunday afternoon. He failed to return and was found dead after a search. The district Coroner. Mr Wilson. returned a verdict of accidental death.
