REBEL CHINESE SHIPS.
HONG KONG, June 24. Admiral Chen, Vice-Minister of the Chinese Navy, who is aboard the Northern Squadron cruiser Ninghai, states that the presence of Northern warships in Hong Kong Harbour is purely to effect a safe transfer of the rebel ships to the Central Government and that no affront to Canton is intended.
