At the annual meeting of the Canterbury Licensed Victuallers’ Association the following office-bearers weie elected for the ensuing year: President, Mr A. M. Olivers; vice-presidents, Messrs A. McDuff and T. G. Fox; honorary treasurer, Mr J. C. Wallace: committee, Messrs A. Barrett. J. M. Coffey, P. Curtis, E. Dovle, A. Harvey, T. Quirk, W. Quirk; countrv members. Messrs C. E. Brown (Lyttelton). C. Garrigan (Rakaia), H. T. Harrison (Kaiapoi). T. Kinlev (Rangiora). J. IT. McKenzie (Tai Tapu). Auditors, Messrs Ilicks and Ainger. The meeting decided that the annual Jpall should be held on Tuesday, July 23, the arrangements being left in the hands of the committee.
