PARACHUTE RIGGING.
A complete course of instruction in the use and rigging of parachutes will be started in Christchurch this week. The instructor will be Mr Bernard W. Skinner, parachute jumper with the Byrd Expedition. Anyone is eligible to take the course, which will probably occupy about two weeks. Instruction will be given for two or three hours each night at the Canterbury Aero Club’s rooms at Wigram Aerodrome. The cost of the course will be between £2 and £3.
