BIG GOLD VALUES.
Unemployed Miner’s Good Fortune. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, This Day. It is reported that an unemployed miner cleaned up from the tailings dump of a company operating on the Kawarau River, in one week, gold valued at three figures. Continual lapping of water with the ebb and flow of the river had washed away dirt and silt, leaving all along the tailings, a rim of gold.
