ST BEDE’S COLLEGE.
Commemoration Day Celebrated. Commemoration Day was celebrated at St Bede’s College to-day, when a large number of old boys and friends of the college joined the pupils in honouring the patron saint of the college. This morning Pontifical High Mass was celebrated by his Lordship Bishop Brodie in the college chapel. An address was given by the Bishop, in which he cited the life of the Yenerable Bede as an example of scholarship and piety which all should strive to emulate. This afternoon the commemoration address was given in the College Hall by the Rev Father Hurley, S.M. >
