POLICE COURT NEWS.
For allowing a chimney to catch fire, Stewart Maxwell Elliott was fined 5s without costs, by Air E. D. Alosley, S.AI., in the Alagistrate’s Court this morning. Donald Gillespie was fined 20s and costs for being on licensed premises of the Waltham Arms Hotel after hours. Charles Keith Alanson was fined 5s without costs for procuring a firearm without a permit. For failing to deliver Defence Department equipment on demand, Alartin Cochrane was ordered to pay the value of the equipment.
