Many Cases for Trial at New Plymouth. per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH. February 18. The heavy Supreme Court list before Mr Justice Blair this morning comprised ten casrs for trial against twelve accused. The judge remarked that the number of indictments was rather out of proportion to the size of the district. Two cases involved alleged cattle stealing, two forgery and uttering relating to the time and wages of r.lief w-orkers, one a false declaration, one assault causing actual bodily harm, and other charges are concerned with alleged acts of indecency. A true bill was returned against James M’Conviile, charged on five counts with indecent exposure.
