POWER BOATING.
Rowland Trophy Won by Verona. The third and final race for the Rowland Trophy was held by the New Brighton Power Boat Club on the estuary this afternoon. The trophy was won by Verona, with 16 points, Rawhiti 114 points* was runner-up. Results:— Otira (35iuin 30sec), 46min 40sec, R. Robinson, 1 ; Shooting Star (30sec), llmin 50sec, L. Nixon, 2; Rawhiti (34min 30sec), 46min 55sec, H. Worrall, 3: Verona (31 min 45seo), 45min 15sec, H. Mason, 4. Verona lost 4min 45sec through engine trouble when starting.
