Mrs. Read, of St. John’s, Newfoundland, took a bite from a piece of bread—and got badly pricked. She removed the bread from her mouth and found three pins in it. Then she examined the rest of the loaf and found four more pins. The baker cannot explain how the seven pins got into the loaf.
