Christchurch won the Barnett Tiki bowling match in Wellington by 33 points. MERIVALE MAN-HUNT. A man was arrested late this afternoon as a result of a chase in Merivale after two men had been surprised in the grounds of a house there. A street chase ensued. The men ran into Hagley Park, one of them crossing the river twice. He was captured by pursuers and handed over to the police. CRICKET AT GREYMOUTH. Coast were all out in their second innings for 91 runs. Canterbury won by an innings and 41 runs. YACHT FOUND. The missing yacht returned to I.yttelton w.ith the crew safe.
