Addington and Brighton Training. BINGEN palm goes well. All the work at Addington was done two sulky widths out from the inside rail, where the track was in good order. A number of horses were given useful essays. Levity "and Margaret Chenault were responsible for an attractive effort over one mile and a half. They began on terms, but Levity was first to the winning post, being a length in front of his companion. The first four furlongs were covered in lmin llsec; mile in 2min 20sec; mile and a quarter 2min 54sec, and the full distance 3min 27sec. Agile was sent two miles which he had no difficulty in covering in 4min i 44sec; taking 2min 28sec to cover the ! first mile, and 3min 38sec for the mile j and a half. Vesuvius dashed over a mile and a quarter in 2min 48sec. High Noon left twelve furlongs behind in 3min 39sec. Dundee went a mile, but was timed only for the last Six furlongs, which he | traversed in lmin 38see. Pronto Bingen paced a mile and a half in Smin 27sec. Gay Sister, in saddle, accompanied him over the last mile, which was covered in 2min 15sec. Finnebrogue’s mission was a mile and a half in 3min 36 l-ssec. Isobel Patch trotted the last mile of her assignment in 2min 20sec. Mystery Yet, Wild Wrack and Blue Blood went a mile and a quarter in 3min Bseo. Wild Wrack broke at the mile post. Morning Sun and Prince de Oro were associated in a bout over twelve furlongs in 3min 28 2-ssec, taking 2min 19sec for the first mile. Fairyland was let off with a mile and a half in 3min 42sec. Worthy King’s trip was two miles In 4min 48sec. Betty Jinks, Colonel Bogey and Done Derby, set out over a mi]|> and a half. Betty Jinks acted as pacemaker, but when the straight was reached Lone Derby moved upV to Betty Jinks, and they finished on terms. Betty Jinks recorded Smin 29sec. Gold Country Goes Easily. Gold Country coasted over a mile and a quarter in Swnin 47sec. Garner trotted a mile and a half in 3min 26sec. General Sarsfield was driven a mile and a half in 3min 33sec. Stella Derby, Holly Bank and Dandy Locanda gave Major Lind two seconds start in a spin over twelve furlongs. Banffshire Lad, who was in saddle, Joined them at the end of four furlongs. Major Lind made the pace until within a furlong of home, where Holly Bank headed him and crossed the line two lengths in front of Major Lind, Stella Derby and Banffshire Lad. Dandy Locanda was six lengths away. Holly Bank registered 3min 28sec. Stella Derby 3min 30sec. Major Lind Smin 32sec and Banffshire Lad did his mile in 2min 16 2-ssec. Golden Square was accompanied by Mystery Yet, who made his second appearance. Her task was two miles in 4min 47sec. The first mile was covered in 2min 24sec, and the mile and a half in 3min 34 2-ssec. Renova trotted a mile pleasingly in 2min 21sec. Tangatu and a novice were not required to do their best while negotiating a mile and a half in 3min 34sec. Paragon glided over a mile and a half in 3min 30sec. Silver de Oro and a novice milled along over a mile and three-quarters in 4min 30sec. Winning Wave's task was a mile and a quarter in 2min 53sec. Organist and Fanny Bingen went a mile in 2min 21sec. Desert Malden paced two miles in smin ssec. Bracken and Tempest were sent two miles. Bracken made the pace all the w „ a %. and finished half a length In front or Tempest. The sectional times were: Half-mile lmin llsec, mile 2min 20sec, mile and a half 3min 29sec and the full distance in 4min 42 2-ssec. At New Brighton. The grass course at New Brighton was open for fast work this morning. The trestles were very wide out, the extra distance the horses covered being estimated at six seconds to the mile. The footing was slow. Black Jester left the mile and a half post in front of Wise Guy and had one second start from Iraq, who was worked in saddle. Black Jester made the pace until the straight was reached, where Wise Guy dashed into the lead, with Iraq after him. In the run home Wise Gu)' and Iraq finished three lengths in front of Black Jester. The first two furlongs were negotiated in 37 2-ssec, the half mile in lmin 13 4-5 sec, mile in 2min 26 4-ssec, mile and a quarter in 3min 3sec. Iraq did 3min 35 4-ssec, and Wise Guy 3min 36sec. Eureka Boy had one second start from Bingen Palm in an interesting effort over two miles. Eureka Boy strode out boldly to make the pace. He reached the half mile post in lmin 18sec, and was still bowling along when he passed the mile disc in 2min 27sec. At that stage of the trip Fureka Boy was three lengths clear of Bingen Palm. Eureka Boy was still clear of his companion at the mile and a half post in Smin 35 l-ssec. Going to the mile and three-quarters station, Bingen Palm closed on Eureka Boy, but in the run home Eureka Boy beat his by a length to register 4 min 43 l-ssec. The concluding two furlongs were covered in 33sec. Both horses finished well. Colonial Boy conceded Billy Sundy three seconds’ start over a mile and a half. Colonial Boy pulled hard. They were not out to make time. Kotlnga Pleases. Kotlnga and a stable companion left on terms. Kotlnga trotted two miles In her usual free style in smin 6 3-ssec, taking 2min 41 2-ssec for the first mile, and the mile and a half was done in 3min 57sec. Her companion was then pulled up and Kotinga went on to complete her assignment, trotting the concluding four furlongs in lmin 9 3-6 sec. Betty Wrack and, Don Wrack were companions in a spin over a mile and a quarter. They did the last mile in 2min 23 4-ssec. Esther trotted the last mile of her task in 2min 30 3-ssec. Carl had three seconds' start from Rongomai in a bout over a mile and a half. Rongomai gathered Carl in the straight and they came home together. Carl trotted the first two furlongs in 38sec; half-mile in lmin 15sec; mile in 2min 32sec: mile and a quarter in Smin 7sec, and the mile and a half in 3min 41sec. Rongomai did Smin 3 Bsec. Our Fay led out from the mile post from Directum. Vagabond King, Warplane, Grand Author and Recess. ' Our Fay held the lead all the way, and the six horses worked well and finished in close formation. Our Fay registered lmin 13 3-ssec for the four furlongs, and was at the mile in 2min 27sec, and crossed the line in 3min 34 2-ssec. Recess paced the mile and a half in Smin 33 3-ssec. Brigadier paced a mile from a standing start in 2min 23 3-ssec. Rollicking Wave had two seconds’ start from Cam Dillon in a trip over a mile and a half. Rollicking Wave made all the. naoe and finished well clear of Cam Dillon. Rollicking Wave covered the journey in 3min 37 4-ssec, and Cam Dillon in Smin 41 sec. The first mile was negotiated in 2mln 28see.
