PILLION RIDER INJURED.
On a recent evening Miss I. Burgess, of Kaiapoi, was thrown from a motorcycle on which she was riding pillion, and sustained a wound on the head which required several stitches. The accident, which occurred on the North Road between Woodend and Kaiapoi, was caused by the machine striking a dead dog. The driver of the machine. Mr V. Gibling, Kaiapoi, escaped with a few scratches.
