AMBULANCE CADETS.
Grand Prior’s Badges Are Awarded. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, February 14. Grand Prior’s badges, the first to be gained in New Zealand, were presented to Miss Joan Dutton and Miss Joyce Whittaker at the annual meeting of the Wellington corps of the St, John Ambulance Association to-night by the Hon Sir Heaton Rhodes, Commander of the Order of St John in New Zealand. Sir Heaton wore th mantle of his office. These robes had not previously been worn in New Zealand in connection with the Order’s activities. Assistant Commissioner F. N. Ward said cadets could take sixteen tests, and when they passed twelve of the tests they were entitled to the Grand Prior's badge, and were known as Grand Prior’s Cadets.
