Lack of interest in the affairs of their district, and in the doings of their association, was alleged against the majority of Somerfield Burgesses by Mr J. W. Woodbury, honorary secretary, at last evening’s meeting of the association. There w-ere five members present at the meeting. Mr Woodbury stated that in the past there had been thirty Owing to the smallness of the meeting he considered that nothing should be done in the meantime.
