Sir Malcolm Campbell Has Trial Run. BLUE BIRD MISBEHAVES. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received February 15, 1 p.m.) DAYTONA BEACH, February 14. In the first trial over a fairly smooth course, Sir Malcolm Campbell found several imperfections in the Blue Bird. After covering an eight-mile run the speed indicator was not working properly and the clutch was slipping. The speed in the trial was slightly more than 100 miles an hour. The time when Sir Malcolm will attempt a record run is indefinite.
