POLICEMEN SHOT.
LONDON, February 13. The Vienna correspondent of the “ Daily Mail ” says that serious fighting occurred in the central square of Ottaskring, a Viennese suburb. Two hundred Communists attempted to hold a meeting. Their standard-bearer began an address, when policemen made an effort to seize the flag, upon which the speaker shot two with a revolver. Reinforcements arrived. The Communists opened fire with rifles and the police replied, killing the ringleader and wounding three demonstrators. Two more police were seriously injured.
