A luncheon to celebrate the fifty-first anniversary of the landing of passengers by the ship Waitangi at Lyttelton will be held at Lyttelton on januarv 16. Yachting. A fourteen-footer race will be sailed by members of the Canterbury Yacht and Motor Boat Club on Saturday afternoon over the club course. The Canterbury representative. Irene, which will defend the Cup at Stewart Island, will probably be sent south on January 19. Accommodation is still required for about four of the yachtsmen who will compete in the Z class championship, which will be held at Lyttelton next week.
