Six Starters Likely for N.Z. Championship. Per Press Association. BLENHEIM, January 9. Prospects are for at least six starters In the New Zealand power boat championship race for the Masport Cup. on Picton harbour, on January 22. Perano brothers, of Tory Channel, will defend the title in Tory Chick. The challengers
include Dunedin, Wanganui, Havelock and Blenheim boats. Entries have not sret5 r et closed. The race is to be over a course of sixteen miles in length, entailing four circuits of four miles each, the triangular course extending from the railway wharf, outside Mabel Island and back.
