ADVICE FROM HOME.
Keeping in Touch With the Governor-General. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, This Day. The Council of the Royal Agricultural Society has power under its constitution to appoint honorary corresponding members. The Council, recognising the great benefit of the advice it has from time to time received from the Governor-General and, desiring to retain their Excellencies’ interest in New Zealand agriculture, recently asked Lord Bledisloe to accept election as the first honorary corresponding member of the Society. The president of the Society has received an intimation of Lord Bledisloe’s acceptance.
