“ Doctors do not seem to be in any hurry to send out their accounts," remarked Mr W. R M’Kean, S.M., in the Police Court at Auckland, when a doctor's tee for attention to a child bitten by a dog was being discussed. It was stated that, although it was three months since the atention was given, no bill had yet been received. A charge of having a dangerous dog. preferred against a man. was dismissed, the owner having previously undertaken to pay the doctor’s bill.
