SALVATION ARMY.
Commissioner Welcomed Last Evening. Lieutenant-Commissioner and Mrs F. H. Adams were accorded a public welcome in the Salvation Army Citadel last evening. The visitors were welcomed by Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M., who remarked that he had previously welcomed four other commissioners to New Zealand. He hoped that Commissioner and Mrs Adams would have a profitable stay in the Dominion. Other speakers were Colonel Albert Osborn, the chief secretary, and Lieu-tenant-Colonel Burton, field secretary for New Zealand. Commissioner and Mrs Adams responded. Commissioner and Mrs Adams left for the south this morning, accompanied by their party, and will be given a public welcome in Dunedin this evening.
