“ Winged Youth ”
Here is a story of romance, and, literally, high adventure, by that master storyteller, CAPT. FRANK SHAW, Master of a ship at 23. Frank H. Shaw had the rare experience in the Great War of serving in the Army, the Navy, where the most breathless adventures befell him in “Q” ships, and, lastly, in the Royal Air Force. His own experiences were the inspiration for “WINGED YOUTH/* and the narrative palpitates with the tensions and rhythms of the flying cloud tracks.
