RELIEF WORKER KILLED.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, December 10. Fatal injuries were received this afternoon by G. K. Stevens, who was working in a relief camp at Paraparaumu when he slipped from a dray of logs, a number of which fell on him, injuring his back and ribs and fracturing his left collarbone. lie was removed to the Wellington Hospital where he died.
